June 2 found the darlings of the 80s and the darlings of the 90s together on a 2022 match made in heaven ticket at Shoreline, the second California stop on the 4-night west coast leg of The Tipping Point tour. The cool night air and outdoor setting plus nearly full house saw each band play favorites old and new, including a stomping rendition of Personal Jesus from Garbage and new crowd favorite My Demons from Tears For Fears. Both bands are full to the brim with accomplished musicians, including the legendary Butch Vig drumming for Garbage and backing vocalist Carina Round (Puscifer) settling nicely into Oleta Adams' shoes on Woman In Chains and Badman's Song. With age has come the fine-tuning of true artistry in both of these bands.
